We'll help you with a summary of Canadian immigration processes and how they apply to those in different positions at UBC. It's your responsibility, however, to stay up to date with immigration information for your specific situation.
Self-isolation resources for newcomers to Canada during COVID-19
June 16, 2020
UBC's Housing and Relocation Services has developed a self-isolation resource package in response to the Government of Canada requiring newcomers to Canada entering Canada by air, sea or land to self-isolate for 14 days whether or not they have symptoms of COVID-19.
The document provides helpful instructions when planning on travelling to Canada, with links to resources such as temporary accommodation, travel options from point of entry to place of self-isolation, grocery delivery and concierge services.
